Kirby β Canvas Curse Review (DS)
Sunday, July 18th, 2010
Kirby has been cursed by an evil witch and turned into a pink ball. Itβs our job to help him along in his quest to break the curse and free the land.
The story itself is not intrinsic to the game. In fact I had to look it up for this review. What this boils down too is that the game play does just fine in the fun department without the story there to lean on.
Elite Beat Agents Review (DS)
Saturday, July 17th, 2010
Elite Beat Agents is a perfect example of the greatness that can come out of Japan, especially when they let their kooky side shine.
A rather eccentric little rhythm game, that showcases around twenty easily recognizable and entertaining songs. These are cleverly paired with strangely appropriate stories, which revolve around people in need. Once these folks are identified and their need quantified, the Elite Beat Agents are sent in to dance their way to a fabulous solution.
Upgrading…bugs.
Friday, July 16th, 2010So I upgraded to Wordpress 3.0 and now my images dont show up.
No one seems to know exactly why. Fun.
Excuse the lack of images. Will get that fixed as soon as I can. (Edit: I should say, I am going to ask the lovely, smart people at Dreamhost to fix the problem. They are my Tech-Knights in Shining Armor. /swoon)
(Edit #2, the Wordpress upgrade renamed one of my folders, which is why the pictures aren’t working. Now I need to figure out how to fix it so I dont have to go and manually fix every single image.)
(Edit #3, work around fixed. Images back up. Thanks soooo much Dreamhost techies!)

July Reading List
Tuesday, July 6th, 2010June was a total bust, only read seven books!!
July wasn’t shaping up to be much better with all the traveling and such, but I contracted a mild stomach flu and spent the past few days listless yet not so incapacitated I couldn’t read. Thus I am chugging right along on my July stack. (See how I am trying for a silver lining on my being sick during vacation?) Then again most months that I am ahead I space out half way through and have to scrounge at the end. =)
Ten books a month is a lot to read and I find that I’m struggling with getting enough sleep and finishing all my books. Sadly the best reading time for me is also the best sleeping time. Ah well, I’m still well on track to read 100 books this year.
