About Token Female Gamer
I love the Internet, because it is one of the few places I can let all my geek hang out, where I can be unabashedly nerdy, and (dare I say it) find others who might just share in the fun. Which is why I started this site, my so called gamer diary.
But what to call it? Naming things is not my forte, so I fell back on ‘write what you know’. Being of the female persuasion, my gamer life is rather guy heavy. While there are more and more awesome lady gamers online and I have been fortunate enough to count them amongst my friends, my day to day is rather starved of like gendered gamers. Thus I picked the tongue in cheek, Token Female Gamer. Being the sole female gamer is sometimes kind of a bummer; just makes me more appreciative of other lady gamers. Though I must add, that I am superbly lucky and have some of the greatest guy gamer buddies of all time. <3
As for content, well its all the geeky stuff that I like doing, mostly games; computer games, board games, console games, card games, but also various other interests like shows, websites, books and more.
