May Reading Challenge!
Its that time again where I marvel at the fact that I somehow managed to read all the books from the previous month and stare at the huge stack of books for the next month and wonder how in the hell I’m going to miss enough sleep to read them all. ~breath~
Onward! This month’s challenge has to do with book covers.
Read 3 books whose that has a single male on the cover.

Read 3 books whose that has a single female on the cover.

Read 2 books whose cover feature a couple.

Read 2 books where there is no person or human image at all.

I looked into trying this one but I think I didn’t have any books with a single guy on the cover. All ladies or couples. I think I read too randomly too do these although I love seeing them because I realize how many books are out there that I’ve never even heard of.

I love doing these challenges. It really gives me a focus in my reading. Plus I end up trying a bunch of books I would probably never have tried otherwise.
Few things to note is that you dont have to read ten every month and you can always reread books. Also sometimes it helps to look up alternate book covers on goodreads. I had to do that for this challenge for a few of the books.

Hmm good point! Maybe I should see how well I do without even really trying, I might be closer to fitting the challenges than I think! Though obviously I’d have to do non PNR books since I read a lot of other stuff too.

You dont have to do all PNR, though of course that is the focus of the group. But I think fantasy and sci fi are pretty much allowed as it romance. But honestly I doubt anyone will call you on it. I used Oishinbo for one month and Fables for another.
Also you can just fit in stuff as you go along. I like pre selecting books so I have an obvious stack to get through, but nowhere does it say you have to do it that way. Lots of people just fill in as they go. Even I change my list when things dont work out or my interests shift.
