Day 13 – A game you’ve played more then 100 hours
The list of games that I have played for over 100 hours isn’t very long. Animal Crossing and Diablo 2 are two of them. EverQuest, the biggest time suck of all time, will probably always remain my number one most played game. By the time I finally quit, I had played over 300 days. Yes, days not hours. It took forever to do anything in that game.
But, I’m not playing any of those games anymore, which is why none of them is my final choice. World of Warcraft on the other hand I still play.
How much have I played it? I logged in to check my four most played characters and it’s a bit over 120 days. I have two accounts with three level 85 characters, two of which have full raid gear.
Yup, WoW is currently my most time intensive game. Seems like the clear choice. =)

Going on that theme of currently played games, I went with Civilization. Not only am I playing both 4 & 5 right now at times, but Steam tracks the hours I’ve spent on V. Let’s just say it’s obscene and move on. Then add the times I’ve stayed up late playing Civ 1-3 in my earlier years, and … yeah.
I have no life.

I’m looking at posting all this fun stuff in September. When I get around to this day, I’m leaving out MMOs from as I’ve easily put in over 100 days on some. SOE has taken at least 2 years of my life.

Ooooh Civ, good one. If I put all the Civ games together I would certainly manage more then 100 hours played time, but its doubtful that I’ve played a single one that much. Then again WoW addictions dont leave much time for other addictions, so I usually dont play anything for longer then it takes to complete it.
~wave Dev~ HiHi. Oooh send me links if you go through all 30 days. I wanna read! I hear ya on the leaving the MMOs out, but 100 hours is a lot. I’m not sure if I have played any other games that long since MMOs took over my life. =P 60 – 80 hours is more feasible.
Maybe I should have changed the category to be game you’ve played for more then a year. =D

I’ll make a note somewhere on facebook when I start that blog. :) The reason I’m deciding to leave MMOs out of this particular day is it would be pretty obvious to most of the initial audience which would be 4W people and other people I’ve played MMOs with. I’ve spent a lot of time on RTS and other games, so I figure I will put some work into finding out which one I’ve played more of.
