Hehe, I’m so habitual. Even in Skyrim, which is basically a blank slate, I immediately go for the magic and am grumpy when I actually have to swing a sword.

I like the clever/quirky choice. Lately I’ve been on the hunt in table top games for a good way to build a sneak attacking spellcaster. It isn’t a common archetype. In computer games, I like the blank slate option where there is a core PC that you can modify as you go along…. and then I like to try all the options.

@Jaboo, LOL, I leveled my druid specifically to not show anything. I was going to be a tree forever, but nooooooooo they had to change that. =(

Yeah, I leveled 3 druids to 50 or better. :D But I like seeing the armor I wear. And I like heavy armor over robes, sooo?

LOL! We all know that Bards were just mana batteries. =P

As for utility in WoW, looks like the only class you were missing was Druid. =)

Three classes stand out here for me when I first read this question, Bard, Paladin & Shaman, or to be more exact, Everquest’s Bard, and World of Warcraft’s Paladin & Shaman. They’re the classes that represent the highest level characters I’ve had in those two games and the characters I spent the most time on.

I tried to think of why, and I think the answer is utility. I like having multiple options, and those three I think people will think are synonymous with utility, especially the Bard & Shaman. The Paladin actually got less utility as WOW went on, which is probably why I liked the Shaman more near the end of my run in that game.

So I guess the real answer is melee hybrid.
