Sticking with the no helm look.
I’ve been on and off World of Warcraft for a bit now. The regular raid I was running with my Warlock went kaput, which pretty much began my WoW vacation. Well sort of vacation, since I have been getting on sporadically to finish up some achievements, like Glory of The Cataclysm Hero.
Last night, during said achievement run, one of the guys brought his priest, who happens to be in full Tier 13 gear. I have never before coveted a look quite as much as this one. The whole set together is incredibly awesome looking. Almost seems like an homage to V for Vendetta. Anyway that’s what it made me think of.
I have always played with my helmet graphic off. In general, my character’s pony tail is far preferable to look at, then any of the helm graphics. But bolstered by the priest T13 look, I turned helm graphics on, just too see what my Warlocks T13 helm graphic looked like. Couldn’t be too bad right? Wrong.
Tentacle coming out of my face. Yeah. So wrong. Warlocks get screwed again. ~sigh~

Always wanted to be able to turn off several of the slots. I hated the helms and the giant shoulderpads. Still don’t like ‘em I guess, though I like the Warlock one above better than the Priest one you linked to.

I would turn off the shoulder pads also. =)
The only helm I ever left on made my character look like Vampire Hunter D. Will see if I can find a picture of it somewhere.
And I totally pick awesome mask over lame tentacle. EWWWWW!!!

SOME tentacles are made of awesome. Ones coming out of my characters face in WoW, not so much. I dont usually aspire to the Cthulhu look, though I admire it in others. Or in hentai. =P

I’ve been reading old Robert Chambers stories. I’ve been vaguely disappointed that they’re pre-tentacle stories. Those came into existence because Lovecraft was horribly afraid of the water. Guess I’ll just have to load up some Hentai games to get my tentacle fix.

I actually hadn’t read any of his works. Which is surprising since he was so very prolific. But I have been reading some Lovercaft. Will have to go find the tentacle ones. =D

The one I have is “The Definitive H.P. Lovecraft: 67 Tales of Horror in One Volume”. I haven’t read it yet however, still working on The King in Yellow among others. I’d finish books a lot faster if I was a serial reader instead of a parallel reader.

LOL! I parallel read all the time also. Have like 10 books started. But I do finish them all eventually.
