D&D 4th Edition!
The new edition of Dungeons and Dragons came out. We are super excited!!
Although I have perused the new material, I am far from feeling comfortable about reviewing it. Not sure if I ever really will be, it is such a complex topic; so dependent on the people you play with and the story the GM weaves.
Maybe after I play it some I would feel better about an attempt at reviewing. Now I just have to find people to play with. Anyone want to play D&D with me?
Oh and did anyone notice that there are no more bards?! WTF!
Another fabulous game that no one will play with me is Arkham Horror, now with shiny new review!

I’d play D&D with you. There’s no one around here that wants to play either.
And Warlords are your Bard replacement until such time as they give us Bards but personally, I’d want to play a Fey Warlock as my Psion replacement until they give me a Psion.

We could try doing the online stuff. =D
Yeah Warlords maybe, but I miss my baby Bard. Oh well. Someone said they would be added in the next update.
Now I have to figure out what to do with all of our 3rd Edition source material. Kindling anyone?

Yeah, something like April of next year The Player’s Handbook II comes out. Rumor is that Bards will be in there.. as will all of my Psionic stuff. I’m actually holding off buying any books until then… wait, I think the Manual of the planes comes out before then. Hmmmm..
As for 3rd edition. I still have my 3.0 core books on my gaming shelf.. never got into 3.5 but that’s because my soul belongs to Green Ronin/Mutants and Masterminds. Speaking of which, have you seen Hero Lab?

Sweet! Well it will probably be a year before I have any real time to play D&D anyway. /sigh
That Hero Lab is awesome!! The card and miniature war game ones are also fabulous!
Someone give me ten extra hours a day.

Hey TFG, this is your friend Chris from college… like 10 years ago! Wow that’s a long time. Cool site, I tried blogging once but discovered I have nothing interesting to say…
I’m running a 4e game right now, we’re about a month into it. I’m really liking the game so far, mostly because level 1 characters have so much more versatility and survivability. It makes running fun, exciting adventures way easier for new characters.
Are you on Facebook or anything? I finally got into all that web 2.0 nonsense. Look me up!
