X-Men Origins: Wolverine Review (Theatrical)
Listen up boys and girls, the geek powers-that-be have finally listened and made a geek girl’s dream movie. They took a decent script, predictable plot and then filled in all the gaps with incredibly good looking men – who seem to be clothes free for a lot of the time.
Hugh Jackman (or as my friend called him Hugh I-want-to-jack-you-off-man!) does an excellent job of looking good naked and his acting isn’t bad either. He is joined by a bevy of beautiful men that seem to enjoy being super human as Gambit, Sabertooth, Deadpool, and Agent Zero all have formidable parts.
While I would not call this a fabulous movie it is quite entertaining. The script keeps the story moving along and doesn’t let it bog down too much in the mire of Wolverine’s pouting. And the predictability is expected since Wolverine’s origin story can only be stretched so far.
Solid three mushrooms, well worth the matinee price!!

Your friend has a dirty mind.
I like her.

Yeah, your friend is very unlady like. Isn’t his name HUGE Jackman?!?!?

No no.. you’re confusing him with Huge Ackman, the world’s sexiest man in the year 3208.

Huge Ackman – LOL that is so hilarious and wrong!
And yes HUGE Jackman works, but it does lack some of the finesse of Hugh I-want-to-jack-you-off-man. =D

It seems that ‘finesse’ doesn’t mean what I thought it meant.

Of course it does! Here I looked up a definition for you.
That should clear up some confusion. =D

I am totally considering seeing this movie just to ogle Taylor Kitsch (who plays Gambit) this is also my main reason for watching Friday Night Lights (where he plays my boyfriend Tim Rigens)

What you said was right, “well worth the matinee price.” I’m glad that I didn’t waste a full ticket price on this action movie with below-average special effects. Did anyone else notice how fake the claws looked compared to the previous X-Men movies?

You should totally go see this movie Bri! Beautiful men abound. And yes Gambit is cuuuuute (and totally your type, even though he doesn’t bust out belting country tunes, he seems the type too) although really there is way to little of him in the movie.
There was CG in this movie? I would never have guessed. I was too blinded by rippling abs and nakedness. =D (I do agree that the CG was shoddy, sadly so.)
