2nd!
The end of 2008 has seemed like a mad dash to complete everything. Fantasy Football wrapped up just last weekend, Seasonal Achievements in World of Warcraft are coming to an end, and Animal Crossing has been peppered with day long, not to miss extravaganzas.
As the title suggests, I came in second in the fantasy football league. Its really my best finish so far. I managed third one year, but that was attributed to beginners luck. Ultimately any sporting event that I win I attribute to luck, since I have rudimentary knowledge at best. Never the less I won the first two playoff games, only to be completely trounced in the final game. My three biggest stars didn’t play that day due to the fact that they were on teams that were resting star players.
Picking a MVP is a sports tradition I shall uphold. Payton Manning definitely outscored everyone on my team by almost 60 points. So really he seems like the logical choice, but it just seems so ordinary. Thus I will give MVPru (runner up) shout outs. Chris Johnson (RB) scored the second most points on my team and was just a phenomenal player this season. Also Brandon Jacobs (RB) and Steve Smith (WR) both came through for me. I can’t forget to mention the best Linebacker in the league Patrick Willis. And lastly David Akers, the Philidelphia kicker, who scored as many points as my backup QB.
Second place is pretty darn spectacular.

My other big goal before the end of 2008 was to finish all the Winter Veil Achievments in World of Warcraft. The hardest part was the grinding to level 77 that was required, but I managed, and now have the “Merrymaker” title available. =)
Animal Crossing is also very busy this time of year with all the different events that coincide with RL events.
