I hope everyone had as wonderful a halloween as I did! Managed to finish my All Hallows Eve achievemnt and still go out trick or treating IRL! Candy + sedentary computer game addiction = way too many extra pounds. Time to bust out the Wii Fit! =D

It took me a while to get into the idea of Achievements in World of Warcraft, mainly because I disliked them so much on the console. Unlike the console version of achievements, which are essentially a glorified score board, the WoW achievements confer awards.
In fact it was one such award that started me on this crazy ride. My husband pointed out that one of the awards was a purple drake, a flying mount. As purple is one of my favorite colors I was immediately determined to get it.
The one hundredth post! That’s a big deal, especially since, due to my sporadic beginning, there isn’t a clear anniversary for tokenfemalegamer.com. Even though the very first post is dated July 2007, I didn’t consistently post until April 2008. That only leaves post counts as markers.
I have been wracking my brain, trying to come up with something awesome for my one hundredth post. The only result all that thinking garnered was to give me a time off from writing. So I gave up. For my one hundredth post I got a vacation. =P
Today is my very last day. There have been years of complaining at my house about me spending too much time in front of the computer and not enough time naked and pregnant in the kitchen. Don’t worry, I did not give in without a fight. He has the bite marks to prove it. =D
And so I present to you Token Male Gamer! My husband is taking over. He kept the name, claiming to be surrounded on all sides by girls. (Poor him!)
I wanted a chance to say farewell and thank you for (all the fish) reading. I hope that the site gets updated at least twice in the next year. Of course I will do my wifely duties and nag often from the kitchen.
It has been pointed out to me that the “weekly wow woes” rants are making it seem like I am not enjoying myself and should probably just quit (WoW).
