All moved into our new place. Well, all of our stuff is now out of the old and in the new, but nothing has actually found its final resting place. =P
Saw this the other day, and though I don’t link things very often, it just cracked me up. Love Mortal Kombat!
You know that nasty illness that’s been going around and lasts forever. Well I got it. I can’t breath through my nose and I’m hacking up a lung every five minutes.
And we are moving (IRL) at the end of the month. So I’m trying desperately to pack everything but the computers and the TV and have an Internet connection set up before I move. Important stuff.
But being sick and packing dont mix well, and for some stupid reason I can’t make myself get extra sleep because I might miss a raid. Plus we got the second season of Chuck on DVD, so I really can’t convince myself to sleep.
Stupid I know.

Time to dust off that WiiFit and get on it!
The outside of the house we live in is being painted, which means there is a huge mess of scaffolding covering the entire front. This includes our front stairs with five feet of clearance, and two treacherous low hanging bars to duck underneath.
Its the second bar that got me. Jumped me while I was just minding my own business, walking up the stairs to my front door and WHAM!
We were one of the original adopters of the iPhone. While we did pay the original (very large) price for our matching original iPhones, it wasn’t terribly hard for us to switch as we were already had the proper phone service. In fact our transition was so smooth we could hardly fathom anyone having troubles with it at all.
Initially my husband came home with only one. I had denied wanting one. My minimal cell phone use didn’t warrant spending that kind of money, I thought. After ten minutes of holding it in my hand and playing around with it, I was sold. So I adopted that one and my husband ran out and got himself another new iPhone. The iPhone singlehandedly made texting possible for me.
Its been two years and my old phone is wearing out. There is a crack in the glass and the battery is wearing thin. But yet again I had to see my husbands new phone before I was convinced that upgrading was worth it.
So worth it!

The one hundredth post! That’s a big deal, especially since, due to my sporadic beginning, there isn’t a clear anniversary for tokenfemalegamer.com. Even though the very first post is dated July 2007, I didn’t consistently post until April 2008. That only leaves post counts as markers.
I have been wracking my brain, trying to come up with something awesome for my one hundredth post. The only result all that thinking garnered was to give me a time off from writing. So I gave up. For my one hundredth post I got a vacation. =P

I thought it was about time for a new look, after all it has been over a year now. Time for TFG to grow up a little, move away from the pinky purple, into the grey purple!
Okay so really my web hosting service told me I had to upgrade my Wordpress or they would shut down the site (yeah its been that long!) Anyway I thought it was probably a good idea to just update the whole thing all at once. Spring cleaning as it were. =)
But being a programmer at heart, all the artsy stuff was rather agonizing for me, thus it too far longer then I expected to come up with something I (and my Husband) would like.
I managed something, somehow. Still lots of little fixes to do, and if you find anything severely broken please let me know!!

I’m trying a new system of organizing the reviews in more specific categories. This will cause some overlap and inconsistencies with previous posts, but thankfully should be smooth sailing from here on out. That is until I get in the reorganizing mood again.

I finally named my new World of Warcraft Pet Dino! Its a little homage to my childhood. =)
When I first saw this particular new pet the fist thing that popped into my head was Barney! I was determined to get myself one and call it Barney, but the developers foiled my fantasic plan by not providing a good purple skinned model.
Thats okay, I like Grimlock better anyway. If you still aren’t sure where the name comes from, look here.

Fabulous new year to everyone.
I hope everyone had a chance to come up with some truly compelling new years resolutions (they last for, what?, three week after anyway?!).
My resolution you ask, well to finally get a little better at updating the site. I have a bunch of reviews that I just need to put up.
